Organizer: Ukrainian Psychoanalytic Union (UPU)

This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) governs the terms and conditions for participation in the seminar organized by the UPU (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) and the use of materials provided as part of this event.
By paying for participation in the seminar, you (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) automatically agree to the terms of this Agreement.

1. Subject Matter of the Agreement

1. 1.1. The User receives access to the online seminar on the specified date and/or to the video recording for a period of 3 months (if provided).

2. 1.2. The Organizer provides training materials exclusively for personal use.

2. Copyright

3. 2.1. All seminar materials (videos, audio, presentations, texts, methodologies, etc.) are the intellectual property of the Organizer.

4. 2.2. Any copying, saving, transmission, public distribution, or other use of the materials without the Organizer’s written permission is prohibited.

5. 2.3. In the event of a copyright infringement, the Organizer reserves the right to seek legal action and claim compensation.

6. 2.4. The use of seminar materials for commercial purposes without the Organizer’s written consent is prohibited (including the creation of one’s own courses or the publication of materials in the public domain).

3. Confidentiality

7. 3.1. All personal data provided during participation is stored in accordance with data protection laws and will not be disclosed to third parties without the User’s consent.

8. 3.2. All statements made by participants in the chat or verbally during the seminar are confidential.

9. 3.3. It is prohibited to record or distribute participants’ discussions without their consent.

4. Medical Disclaimer

10. 4.1. The seminar is strictly educational in nature and does not constitute a medical or psychotherapeutic service.

11. 4.2. Information obtained during the seminar does not replace professional consultation with a psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or physician.

5. Refunds

12. 5.1. Once access to the seminar recording has been provided, no refunds will be issued.

13. 5.2. If the User is unable to attend the live session, they will be granted access to the recording (if available).

6. Technical Requirements

14. 6.1. The User is responsible for ensuring they have an internet connection and the necessary technical equipment for viewing.

15. 6.2. The Organizer is not liable for any connection interruptions on the User’s end.

16. 6.3. The User agrees not to transfer access to third parties.

7. Rules of Conduct

17. 7.1. The user agrees to treat other participants with respect and to avoid aggressive or judgmental behavior.

18. 7.2. In the event of a violation of the rules of conduct, the Organizer reserves the right to restrict access without a refund.

8. Technical Recording and Consent

19. 8.1. Participation in the seminar implies the possibility of technical recording (audio/video) by the Organizer.

20. 8.2. The user automatically consents to such recording.

9. Possible Changes

21. 9.1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the seminar program, schedule, or lineup of speakers for valid reasons.

11. Consent to the Collection and Processing of Data

22. 10.1. I consent to the collection and processing of my personal data (full name and email address) in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data,” provided that such data is not disclosed to third parties.

10. Acceptance of the Agreement

23.11.1. Payment constitutes the User’s acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.

11. Dispute Resolution

24.12.1. All disputes shall be resolved through negotiation.

25.12.2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be considered in accordance with the procedure established by applicable law.
