053 Psychology
under the certificate program 

“Theory and Practice of Psychoanalysis.”

The program lasts 10 months and consists of 300 classroom hours (50 ECTS credits).

Format:

- online (Zoom platform)

- monthly modules (30 academic hours of lectures and 4 academic hours of seminars)

 Upon completion of the program and passing the corresponding final assessment, the state institution “K.D. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University” issues a document certifying professional development or a certificate of completion of the program.

Classes begin on March 27, 2026.

  The program includes the following educational components:

- History and Theory of Psychoanalysis;

- Basic Principles of Psychoanalytic Practice and the Ethics of Psychoanalysis;

- Fundamentals of Neuropsychiatry;

- Psychoanalytic Diagnosis;

- Methods and Techniques of Psychoanalysis (Beginning of Treatment/Mid-Treatment/End of Treatment);

- Object relations theory;

- Concepts of narcissism;

- Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalysis;

- Psychoanalysis of borderline disorders;

- Psychoanalysis of psychosomatic disorders;

- Psychoanalysis of depression;

- Psychoanalytic work with psychotic clients;

- Methods and techniques for working with children and adolescents;

- Psychoanalysis of married couples;

- Practice-oriented seminars.

Tuition:

- 85,000 (payable in installments of 17,000 UAH every 2 months) or 70,000 UAH if paid in full.
