Psychoanalysis and psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is the system of medical influence on mental and psychical states. Therapy which is targeted on getting rid of problems (personal, social and emotional). Specialist and client should trust each other.
Psychoanalysis is the psychological theory, method of exploring, which was developed by Austrian neurologist Sigmund Freud.
As a classic treatment method Freud defines type of psychotherapy, where analysant (analytical client) verbalize thoughts by making associations, fantasies and dreams, and a psychoanalytst is trying to summarize subconscious conflicts, which cause symptoms and issues, and interpret it for a client to find suitable solution. Specific of psychoanalytical interventions includes confrontations, adding, interpretation and explanation of pathological protections and desires.
